Kate Danley has released book four of her Magical Tracker series, M&K Tracking. This is an independent novel.
M&K Tracking is finally up and running, but business has been the pits for Maggie and Killian… that is until someone tries to open a portal to the pits of the Dark Dimension via Father Killarney’s church.
When it comes to vanquishing evil, who are you going to call? M&K Tracking. It is a hell of a job, but somebody’s gotta do it.
WARNING: This book contains cussing, brawling, and unladylike behavior. Proceed at your own risk.
M&K Tracking was released on March 1, 2014, and is
248 pages long.
The Lady Scribe’s Notes: What attracted me to this book (and ultimately this series) is the heroine’s hell-in-a-hand-basket, let’s-do-this, taking-names-and-you-better-like-it attitude. The first impression I got of this title is that this is a fun read. Her heroine doesn’t come across as totally wishy-washy and weak, but she’s also not ‘I’m all powerful to make up for not being a man’ either.
There’s always more room in the genre for fun heroines with realistic but sharp attitudes, in my opinion.
