Lady Scribe’s Notes & Review:
This is easily my favorite Mercy Thompson novel. It brought closure to a lot of issues I have had with previous installments of the series. It brings a lot to the table, although I do question where the series will go from here. There seems to be a lot of ways it could go, although I really do hope the storyline with the fae comes to an end sooner than later.
Seriously, if you’re a fan of Mercy, read this book. I loved every moment of it, and it’s one Patricia Briggs book I will be getting in print to go on my shelf, I enjoyed it that much.
Disclaimer: I love Mercy and Adam, and that definitely makes this a biased review.
